For this two-bedroom pied-à-terre in Manhattan, the aim was to celebrate the elevation and the panoramic views the apartment offered, taking inspiration from the surrounding skyline.
The colour palette draws on the tones of the sky, making use of glass as a primary material to allow uninterrupted views of the cityscape beyond. The living room’s centrepiece is a suede-covered hammock suspended from the ceiling, offering the ideal spot to enjoy the ever-changing skyline. The interior design makes considerable use of locally sourced artisans and designers in New York. Dining chairs, lighting fixtures and bedroom furniture were all carefully selected from the city’s thriving design community.
