A collaboration for the London debut of Nilufar Gallery, the Squat project fuses remarkable art and design to create a distinctive domestic environment intended to host private dinners, evening receptions, public events, lectures and talks.

Art curation celebrated a mix of past and present, with old masters alongside modern art, adding a layer of richness to the concept and complementing diverse design pieces. The apartment featured decadent hand-knotted vintage rugs alongside contemporary carpets, including unique pieces like the 'Expected to be or happen at a time still to come' carpet by Martino Gamper, commissioned for Design Miami/Basel. This dynamic setting would brought together curators, collectors, critics and creatives to discuss the value of art and design, providing a platform to explore the work of influential designers and meet leading contemporary talents.
